Sales Trader/Broker - Equities

A leading Financial Trading company based in London are looking to recruit an 'Sales Trader/Broker - Equities '. This is a permanent role.

The salary is very competitive, plus commission.

You must have an existing sales book/client base to be considered for the role.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver minimum annual trading revenues and RPAs from own existing client base.
• Knowledge and experience of the market fundamentals and macroeconomics.
• Communicate trading and investment ideas from within the firm and work with relevant individuals.
• Support any trading or investment ideas and any informal commentaries research papers produced by the firm.
• Regularly call and set up meetings with existing clients to ensure that they are satisfied with the services and products received by the firm, identify new opportunities and/or present new products and services.
• Communicate back to colleagues and manage the clients' needs for services, expectations and opportunities.
• Monitor client business activity with the firm and discuss any significant changes with both the client and internal management.
• Arrange calls and meetings with client prospects involving relevant experts within the firm for the services/ products that the client may be interested in.

Requirements and Preferences:

• University Degree in Economics or Finance, preferable but not essential
• Knowledge and experience of market fundamentals and macro economics
• Knowledge of market dynamics, liquidity and trading practices
• Highly experienced knowledge of Bloomberg
