Operations Associate - FX/CFD Trading Industry (Contract - 6 Months)

A leading Financial Trading company based in New York are looking to recruit a 'Contract Operations Associate'.

You must have experience in Clearing and Operations within an FX/CFD environment to be considered for this role.

The rate for this role is very competitive based on experience.

This is a Contract for 6 Months which offers hybrid working.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely monitoring and processing of all trades, while considering regulatory requirements, client preferences, and company needs.
• Foster and cultivate relationships with key client contacts (including clearing counterparts with multiple clients) and core service providers, such as exchanges.
• Report Equity, Fixed Income, and FX trades for compliance with MIFID regulations after completing reconciliations.
• Address queries from counterparties, brokers, and colleagues promptly and professionally, striving for swift resolutions and actively pursuing trade input and settlement.

Role Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile daily settlements of Equity and FX trades.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth and timely settlements.
• Support day-to-day business operations by promptly addressing discrepancies through ongoing communication with stakeholders.
• Calculate and oversee the entire end-to-end P&L process.
